How do I purchase a 2-for-1 Gardens card?

Digital 2 for 1 Gardens card: you can instantly purchase a digital 2 for 1 Gardens card directly through the app for just £9.99, just head to the 'digital card' tab on the app.
May issue and printed 2 for 1 Gardens card & guide: you can order a 2 for 1 Gardens guide & card, included in the May issue of BBC gardeners' world here. My card isn't in my magazine - Your printed 2 for 1 Gardens card is on the inside flap of your 2 for 1 Gardens guide. If your May value pack did not contain a guide, please contact our customer service team.
Do I need to create an account or log in to use the app? You can browse garden listings and use the map without creating an account. You’ll need to create an account or log in to view or use a digital card, or to buy one in the app. Please ensure that you are logged in before visiting a garden. If you have an existing Gardeners’ World account, you can log in using this.
How do I buy or activate a digital card? Open the Digital Card tab in the app and create an account or log in. Follow the instructions to buy a card or activate the unique code included with your 2 for 1 Gardens guide. Each activation code can be used once to activate one digital card, and the card is linked to the account used to activate it.
I’ve created an account or logged in, but I can’t see my existing card Your card should appear when you log in to the account it’s linked to. If it isn’t there, tap Get in touch in the Digital Card tab to email our team and we’ll help.
I’ve lost or damaged my printed card Unfortunately, we’re unable to replace lost or damaged printed cards. You can buy a replacement online. If you have a digital card but can’t see it after creating an account, use the Get in touch link in the app.
I’m an overseas magazine subscriber. Can I get a card and guide for my UK visit? Yes, you can buy a digital card through the 2 for 1 app.
How do I use my 2 for 1 card? Show your original printed card or your digital card in the app. Screenshots, photos and copies of a digital card won’t be accepted. The offer gives two adults admission for the price of one full-paying adult, subject to the garden’s conditions. For more information, see pages 6–7 of your guide or visit our About 2 for 1 Gardens page.
Can I share my card with someone else? No. A digital card is linked to the account used to buy or activate it, and the account holder must be present when using it. Gardens may check the card’s unique identifier and ask you to show it in the app while logged in to the linked account. Printed and digital cards must not be shared. See the full Terms and Conditions for details.
Should I book my visit in advance? Check the individual garden listing in the app, online or in your guide before visiting. It will say whether booking is essential or recommended. Garden details, opening hours and availability can change, so check the latest information with the garden before travelling.
